Amy Liu, DDS

Dr. Amy Liu was born and raised in Taiwan. She graduated from dental school at Taipei Medical College in 1983. To further her education, she came to the US. She completed a postdoctoral program in Oral Medicine at the University of California, San Francisco in 1986. One year later she obtained a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Loma Linda University. After graduating, Dr. Amy Liu moved to Phoenix in 1988 to practice general dentistry. She has been the owner of Modern Dental Care since 1990. She is skilled in cosmetic dentistry, Invisalign, implant dentistry, and oral surgery. She is also licensed to perform IV sedation.

In her free time Dr. Amy Liu enjoys traveling, photography, reading, and meeting new people. In addition to English, Dr. Amy Liu is fluent in Mandarin Chinese. She is married to an optometrist and has two adult daughters. Their family also includes a cat, a goldfish, a desert tortoise, and many chickens.

Ekaterina Pollard, DDS

Dr. Ekaterina Pollard is originally from Russia. She received her dental degree from the University of Southern California in Los Angeles. While in dental school, Dr. Ekaterina Pollard was inducted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon, the national dental honor society. In addition, she received the “Head of Class” Top Student Award upon graduation in 2001.

Due to these distinguishing honors, immediately after graduation Dr. Ekaterina Pollard was invited to work at a prestigious dental office in Beverly Hills, where she gained valuable experience in meeting the needs of patients. She found it very rewarding to see some of her patients on the “Big Screen” and to know that “Hollywood smile” was thanks to her efforts in giving them the best dental care possible!
